On our second date, Kristen and I talked about kids like any normal potential couple might. I talked to Kristen about my desire to adopt back then, before we knew if there were any fertility issues, and I was thankful that Kristen was on board from that point.
We always thought we’d have some kids naturally first and then adopt, but God had other plans! Neither of us have major infertility issues, but we’ve been trying to get pregnant for close to 3 years. If that’s not a sign to go forward with adoption, I don’t know what is!
I’m a high school teacher, and Kristen works with children with autism. We’ve both dedicated our lives and careers to working with children of all kinds and types, and we would love the chance to bring a new face (or a few faces) into our little family. We’ve got an incredible support system between our family, our church, and our friends, and we know that anyone joining our family will be incredibly loved beyond measure!
